Tradewinds Caravans - Middle East Journey

Tradewinds Caravans, developed and published by Sandlot Games, is one of those games that stand out amongst other casual games. You don't see lots of games like this one these days.

You are to make your way from China to the Mediterranean Sea encountering different challenges and obstacles.

You start the game with choosing a player for yourself. There are six in total but two of them have to be unlocked.

Each one of the characters has his/her own story which affects his/her decisions in the game.

Having done that you are offered a short tutorial. Though it may not seem that short for those who got used to more familiar game genres where you don't need to be explained a lot.

So what you are doing no matter who is your player is you follow the Silk Road from China to the Mediterranean Sea.

You have to be a wise merchant, a fearless warrior and a careful traveller.

When you find yourself in a city, you are given a map of different places you can go to in the city.

These places can be Healer, Market, Guild etc. While you are in the city, you can heal your soldiers, buy or sell food, lend money, talk to people you need, hire new soldiers etc.

You can actually see the task in the bottom. When you travel through the wilderness to a city, you lead your soldiers and animals to the required destination. You can meet enemies on your way.

The fights with evemies are not actually the ones you participate in since you just click the sword button and your soldiers start fighting.

Tradewinds Caravans is a game full of everything, it will be a good choice for those who love to take their time and dive deep into the simulation game.
