Veronica Rivers: Portals to the Unknown is a new hidden-object game, developed and published by Dragon Alter Games. The game is so very good that it will please pros and newcomers of the genre. All the gorgeous production values do make the game definitely a high quality product.

 

 

 

The game will take you travelling all over the world.

 

 

 

 

Veronica is a resque pilot located in the north pole. The game makers are so similar with the movie makers because the girl with a job like this is young and beautiful. Anyways, she gets a SOS message one day from some geologists in Alaska.

 

The girl starts for resquing them but she doesn't know that her journey will bring her to so much farther then that. So soon you find yourself traveling to absolutely different places all over the world through magic portals.

 

The game presentation, the sound and the look, are beautifully performed. The graphics are very attractive with impressive animated parts. The sounds and music add a lot too. So those who've played many games will definitely appreciate these.

 

The game is devided into two sections in a very traditional way - seek-and-find levels and mini-games. The mini-games are nothing special but a nice place to get to in between the hidden object levels.

 

The items in the hidden object levels are given to you in several ways.

 

It can be a classic list of items or silhouettes. You may be asked to take pictures with your camera or use an "evidence analizer" or a flashlight. It was fun to have all this variety.
