Virtual Farm - Strategy Farming
Rejoice all the fans of Farm Frenzy and Alice Greenfingers! Virtual
Farm reminds both of these simulation hits. You are to work really hard to
make your small farm a success turning it into a huge prosperous business.
In this game from Alawar Games,
just like in the other similar games, you run from one task to another, and if
you are quick enough your business grows.
You are an old farmer who
inherited a farm. With only grass growing on his farm, he is determined to work
hard enough to develop it into a successful business. As for the opportunities
for this to happen, there are plenty of those.
So what you are to do is to grow
whatever you have growing on your farm, harvest it and sell it. You have to
keep an eye on what's going on on the market. It would be very wise of you since
you can make a very good deal setting a high price when the demand for the product
is high.
This would help you to earn some
cash which you can spend then on all kinds of upgrades. Not only can you buy
the upgrades for the planting process, but also new equipment and animals.
You can make some goods out of
your produce as you build some support structures for the animals. Good money
can also be made via contracts with the locals for some specific harvests.
So here is the add-on of the
Virtual Farm. You start from growing different kinds of crops. Then as your business
grows you can build some support structures and then feed some of your produce
to animals like sheep, cows or pigs and get some other goods like wool, milk or
meat respectively.
Locals may also contact you to
sign a contract for a specific harvest. You are responsible for fulfilling
you obligations on time. Otherwise you are losing some cash.
I guess this is the main twist of
this game you work for all of those upgrades available for you. Having got all
of them the game gets a little bit boring lacking the motivation. Unless you are a
true fan of this kind of strategy games.
