Westward IV: All Aboard – Wild West Adventure
Westward IV: All Abroad is one of the games that are lucky to have themes that are not popular and used in every other release. Wild West is a theme full of so many things to make up a nice casual game. Sandlot Games have used the theme very good in Westward IV: All Aboard.
You are to play as one of the siblings Turner: Anne and Henry. They are to rush back home to their mother to help her rebuild the family railroad.
The next thing to do will be to find out why their father had vanished. The story is quite interesting with extremely likable personalities of the characters and soon you want to know where the life will bring Anne and Henry to.
Rebuilding the road is not going to be challenge-free as you could expect. You will encounter mean bandits, rescue kidnapped citizens and bring the whole town to a new level as you will be expanding the railroad to the neighboring towns.
The Westward games are strategy games that make one character fix and build things. You can also hire other citizens to work for you. The game play techniques
might take some time to get used to if you are not familiar with the games. But once you've got it, you will enjoy it forever.
The first several missions might be a bit boring for someone but after that you can buy new buildings blueprints and get more workers etc… then things become more intriguing. Then a few levels later you won’t have time just to sit and relax having several addicting tasks at a time.
Despite that the game offers a great strategy adventure experience and the theme adds to the game being so charming and addictive, it reminds all those fantasies the old wild west movies used to bring up.
Westward IV: All Aboard is one of the best games recently released to the genre but you just might need to warm up a bit in the first few levels.
