Wild West Quest - All Guns'n'Roses
Wild West Quest from Anarchy enterprises is a hidden object game of amazing quality. It combines a really engaging story taking you back in time with compelling game play featuring some new twists.
Have you ever imagined yourself a cowboy or cowgirl? Now you have a perfect chance to feel yourself one.
After your beloved Granny passes away you are forced to organize a yard sale in order to raise enough money and not let Armstrong Bank take her house. When you go to look for some stuff suitable for the sale, you stumble upon your grandmother's old trunk, and find some interesting things there, like a stylish Stetson hat, a newspaper clipping telling about your Grandpa Willie's assassination, a WANTED leaflet for Black Jack Armstrong and... an old pocket watch. As soon as you touch it something strange happens... and you find yourself in a street of a definitely Wild West town. Your journey into the past starts here!
Actually, you get not just to the past, but to the very moment preceding the events leading to your grandfather's death. And the story will develop and bring you new information after each level. It's a great opportunity to clear out what has happened or even prevent the crime. Are you up to it?
The game play is a combination of traditional hidden object levels and a couple of some great new twists. As usual, in most leves you have to find a number of hidden items shown as words or silhouettes. In others your task is to find differences between two pictures or to shoot all the banditos while you move along a street, or to find little framents of playing cards on a full screen of those.
On each level you have an opportunity to find additional hints - look for ? signs! And beware of false clicks - you'll get time penalty for that!
The game offers you to try your hand in Timed or Relaxed Mode - as you wish.
What makes Wild West Quest a really good example of a hidden object game is the quality of its visuals, sounds and the environment on the whole. You will meet very vivid characters, each with his/her individuality, and live in a real Wild West town. Country music complements the impression perfectly.
Haven't been to the Wild West yet? It's high time to go!
