World Mosaics 3: Fairy Tale - "Picross"-Style Puzzles
As you can see from the title of the game, it is a sequel of two other games released before. This game from Fugazo gives you another opportunity to get into the "picross"-style puzzles.
Apart from that, you also get a chance to go through the fairy-tails from the childhood in World Mosaics 3: Fairy Tale.
Helping with the fairy-tail characters will give you 12 books of puzzles to play.
Here it is. You chance to finally get involved into the fairy-tails you heard or read in your childhood. Not just an opportunity to observe the characters, but also to deal with them and help them.
But helping all of the characters is not just some kind of charity. That is actually your way to escape. It all started when while doing some research in a library, our
protagonist comes across an enchanted book of fairy-tales that transports
you into the pages of the book itself.
Now cooperation with the characters from Frog Prince, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood,
and Hansel & Gretel and much more is your way back to the reality.
The main game-play goes as follows: each puzzle is a grid with numbers along the left
and top, and a mosaic hidden underneath. The numbers give you clues
about where to click in order to reveal part of the mosaic.
For example,
a "3" in one row means that somewhere in the row there will be three
consecutive mosaic tiles to uncover. A line of "2 3 4" means there will
be a set of two, a set of three, and a set of four somewhere in the row,
each separated by at least one space.
As usual the difficulty level grows as you progress, starting with just 5x5 grids you end up eventually with 20x20. The mosaics are themed to the story as well; for
example, in Princess and the Frog you'll uncover mosaics like a crown,
diamond ring, and of course a frog.
Even though the game tastes very much as the previous two, it is still fun to play this not very popular kind of puzzles.
