The title of the game creates all kinds of assumtions as to what the game is all about. Because if you are in this genre for quite a while, you most probably played several games with abandoned haunted hospitals or mensions. But The Agency of Anomalies: Mystic Hospital is offering more of a story. There is a great mission for you in this game. You are to stop the dimantional vortes from openning. How did we get to that? Well the story began 10 years ago, when in attempt to create a super soldier experiments were carried out. The experiments did not end well. The human volunteers were injected paranormal serum, which lead to them becoming monsters and ultimately the whole thing ended with the explosion of the hospital. One of the doctors escaped with Nexus, the paranormal energy holder. It is up to you now to not let Nexus restart and lead to a catastrophe.
There are different genres in the casual games world. But there also different kinds of games within one genre according to what any game has to offer. Some games are just to fill in the blank while waiting for something worthy, while others are the ones you are waiting on to enjoy it from start to end. Maestro: Music of Death belongs to the latter ones. You play as an inspector who is trying to find out what's going on in a town that was closed because of some weird illness. Pretty soon you learn that for some unknown reason people get older and eventually die from the old age. You collect the information piece by piece, and you learn that it has something to do with a little girl playing music...The game doesn't give away the whole story when you know what to expect. No, here, you are kept interested in what's going on. The whole presentation of the game is just perfect creating such a great atmosphere.
This time you have chance to play a typical hidden object/adventure gamein a wonderful fairy-tale land. It is a break from bloody, spooky, horrifying, mysterious atmosphere. Even though there are some problems to solve, it is kind of more friendly. You play as a young fairy girl who is now responsible for fixing a portal. I know I'm not saying more than the title itself, but that is mostly because the story that is told to you is not altogether very clear. You get to meet a professor who did something wrong and now they need you, a human, to fix it. There is a small friend/mentor for you. It is an old mouse. You accomplish your task through the familiar set of activities. You will have to play the hidden object levels and you will play them a lot. Entering almost every location, you will have to find all the items on the list. Those are sometimes hard to find. But this is the case when it is hard to find because the scene is not cluttered, but rather clean with everything that belongs there.
Time-management frenzy is taken to airports this time. Jet Set Go is a typical fast paced game for the fans of the genre. You will have to do a lot of work to get to the last aiport and earn as many stars as possible. In Jet Set Go you are going to open and manage three airports. The second and the third one are locked. You are able to get to them only having reached four stars in the first one. The game is full of different tasks for you. First of all, you are going to be busy with helping people plan their vacations. You do that in very familiar way of dragging them to different stations. At those stations you can play various mini-games that will encrease their patience.
Who is for some adventure in an abandoned town full of unknown forces? If you feel like that's what you would do, try this new release. Mystery Trackers: Raincliff Collector's Edition offers a nice journey in search of the missing people and also of the answers to some mysterious events. The game doesn't tell you much from the very beginning, so you won't know more than what you can read in the short preview. The bus with some people in it is gone missing while going through a town of Raincliff. That's it. That's where you start the game. You find yourself in this weird town. As someone wise said - little by little one walks far, you unroll the story behind the events. You will have to investigate all the corvers of the town in order to get the full picture of what's going on. So that is a nice feature that keeps you interested and I'm not going to spoil it all for those who are going to play it.
